Gone to Louisiana!

We took a trip down south to visit Tiffany's family in Bogalusa, Louisiana. It's an eighteen hour drive one-way but the trip was worth it. Tiffany did a lot of family history gathering and I finally met some members of the my Mother in law's family. We stayed with Momo, went to New Orleans, enjoyed the fine southern cuisine, "smelled" Bogalusa, and overall had a very relaxing time.

Scuba Diving

I earned my Advanced Open Water Diver Scuba license today. I spent the weekend swimming with the fishes in an old quarry in Pennsylvania. I learned how to navigate underwater using a compass, and night diving as well as other things. Probably the coolest thing was practicing an controlled emergency swimming ascent from 45 feet at night not using any air (you learn you have a lot more air in your lungs than you think!) For the first time ever I don't have any pictures. Hard to believed isn't it?

Fishing on the Chesapeake

We took another fishing trip today with Capt. John and First Mate Rich. While the bay waters are still cold it's a good time to catch larger rock fish. We started at about 8:00am and caught our limit (7 fish over 28") by 2:00pm. Fish sizes ranged from 34" to 42". Dad, Rory, and myself went along with Steve from our ward. As always, we had a great time!

Happy Mothers Day!

We slept out in our tent in the backyard Saturday - Sunday Morning. Logan was a hoot to watch in the tent! The slightest breeze blowing the tent had him spooked for a while. After he finally settled down we read books and played card games. The next day we had a nice a peaceful Mothers Day, we hope you did too! Sunday evening a fierce lightning storm rolled in just before midnight. Surprise! - I decided to take some pictures

Baltimore National Zoo

This past Saturday we visited the Baltimore National Zoo in DC. The zoo is free and isn't very far from the temple. We had a great time. Pictures
