New Years Eve

The little boys had more fun that the adults did on new years eve. They got out the kazoos and hats and had a dance party downstairs. When 12:00 rolled around that night all the adults were doing there own thing and we missed the ball dropping! What a bunch of party poopers we are!

In case you hadn't heard yet, Logan LOVES trains. Every year our local fire department puts up a model train display as part of a fund raiser. We took Logan, Jason, and Bradley this year on Christmas Eve. Logan could barely contain his excitement! He had a fit when we finally pulled him away. :-)

Hershey Park

While Trevor and Maria were out here to visit their family we joined them in going to Hershey Park. Hershey Park is an amusement park in the summer, but they put up lights and offer rides during the Christmas season as well.

Family News

Mom and Dad have left the country! Yesterday morning Mom and Dad began their long flight to Cambodia. They went to pick up Shawn after finishing his mission and will be there for two weeks. Most of their time will be spent in Cambodia but they will also visit Thailand, I can't wait to see some pictures. All three of them will return on the 17th of this month. When Shawn gets home it will definitely close a large chapter in our household. All four sons have gone on missions, with the last three of us almost being gone concurrently. Shawn's return will signal an end to eight years of missionary service from our house.

On a side note, while Tiffany and I were out shopping yesterday we happened to drive by our local McDonalds. Logan caught a glimpse of the golden arches and started saying "Nuggets! Nuggets! ... Fries! Fries!" I swear we don't go there often! Maybe once a month at most! Its scary how fast kids pick up on things...
